Right from the famous chhole bhature from Dining at The Punjabi's Kitchen was a very well satisfied, contented and pleasant culinary experience.Jallianwala Bagh are the biggest reasons why people from all parts of the country love travelling to Amritsar, the city’s food scene also happens to be a big pull for a lot of travellers. It was a very rich, sumptuous lunch.Īt the end of the meal, two figurines (a couple dressed in Punjabi attire) holding bowls of the after-meal mouth fresheners, fennel seeds (badishep or saunf) are placed on the dining table.

The lassi, in a huge glass, was thick and creamy sprinkled with dried fruits. We ordered fresh lime soda and a lassi to go with our meal. The Saarso ka Saag and biryani are also very delicious dishes.

Around 8-9 huge chunks of kebabs come on one plate, accompanied by a plate of cool, tasty cole slaw and a bowl of onions-limes. We ordered Cocktail Kebabs and Junglee Kebabs. Soft Punjabi music is played in the background. The modern elements are the many frames dotting the walls with quirky sayings. The grey walls resemble the rough walls of a village abode. The restaurant is quite spacious and has an earthy, rustic ambience, with some modern. They have Punjabi dishes and Chinese dishes on their menu. This restaurant on the first floor of Sanjay Appa Chamber, Chakala serves finger-licking delicious food.
